⚠ Draft — pending legal review
This is a working draft, not finalized legal text. Have it reviewed by a qualified attorney (COPPA / GDPR) before launch.
By creating an account or using Read Me a Story (the “service,” operated by Entity LLC), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be at least 18 years old and the parent or legal guardian of any child whose information you enter. By adding a child, you confirm you have the authority to provide that information and consent to its use as described in the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
You agree not to misuse the service. In particular, you will not:
Stories and illustrations are generated by automated AI systems. We apply an automated safety and moderation process designed to keep content age-appropriate, but no automated system is perfect and we cannot guarantee every output is suitable. You are responsible for reviewing stories and deciding what is appropriate for your child, and we recommend an adult preview or read along.
If you find a story that concerns you, please use the report control so we can review and, if appropriate, remove it.
The stories created for your family are provided for your personal, non-commercial use with your child. To keep the service efficient, de-personalized story templates (which contain no personal information about your child) may be reused to create stories for other families; you do not gain exclusive rights to a template, only to your personalized copy.
The service itself, including its software, branding, and design, belongs to us and our licensors.
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or to protect the service and its users.
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will update the version and date above and, where appropriate, ask you to review and re-accept them.
